NYC March Reading Club + Dinner (Wed, March 18, 7-9 pm)

After our NYC reading group launched with a bang in January, we are having our second meeting on Wednesday, March 18th, 7-9 pm.  We will be chatting about The Trip by Weike Wang C '11.  Ever taken a loved one for the first time to a place you have frequented?  Want to talk about reclaiming identity?  Curious about how fellow H4A members feel their experiences and education have informed their awareness?  Uncertain about any of the above but intrigued?  With the energy of the readers in our community, touching on a few of these themes from the story will only be our warm-up.  Come make a new H4A tradition!

Read the story or listen to Weike read her piece here!  The writer said she did not know how the story would end when she began to write it.  Think you can predict better?  Take a read! https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2019/11/18/the-trip

To encourage an intimate and free-flowing conversation, we are capping the number of attendees at 10.  RSVP here (first-come, first-served) by Wednesday, March 11, end of day.  By RSVPing, please commit to reading the story beforehand.  We will send further details to confirmed attendees prior to the event.

March's reading group will be facilitated by Hua Szu Yang C'12.
