Message from the Chapter Head

Anchored by our close proximity to Harvard, the Boston chapter of H4A benefits from a large local alumni base and a range of activities. Over the past years, our group has hosted numerous events open to all H4A members and spanning various areas of interest. We’ve attended the AAPI evening at Fenway Park to cheer on our local Red Sox, participated in a special film screening of the Oscar-shortlisted film Hidden Letters (about changing roles in women in China), hosted a dumpling brunch during Chinese New Year, hosted a Diwali dinner at the Maharaja restaurant over the Harvard Alumni Association weekend, sponsored a variety of happy hours at local watering holes, had a strong presence at Harvard Alumni Association global networking night events, and publicized a number of cultural events if interest to the Asian American alumni community. We love hearing from local members, and are committed to creating fun, inclusive, and educational events and opportunities for H4A members.

We’d also encourage you to join our community post-COVID and we’ve spun up a GroupMe for this and also send out regular email updates for local events. If you’d like to join please visit us here or join our GroupMe via this link: https://web.groupme.com/join_group/91744710/NwgRiCyK.
