Please join us for a theater and dinner outing on Sunday, Feb. 23, to see the new play Cambodian Rock Band, by award-winning playwright Lauren Yee. We will be attending the 7:30 pm show at Signature Theatre, 480 W. 42nd St., and will meet beforehand for dinner at a nearby restaurant at 6:00 p.m. You're welcome to join us for either or both parts of the evening.

The play, which features a live band, is billed as an "intimate rock epic about family secrets." The Chicago Tribune called it "a haunting, wise, political and personally searing show," and the L.A. Times said, "Yee’s play is a fierce, gorgeous, heartwarming, comedic fairy tale." Lauren Yee will be at the theater to speak with audience members before and after the show and promises "free buttons" plus fellow playwright David Henry Hwang in the house.

Tickets are $35 each. Purchase yours fee-free here using the code CRBLY (hurry, there are only 30 seats left in the small theater). If you'd like to join us for dinner (pay your own), please RSVP through this quick form, and we will get back to you with the venue. If you can't make it on the 23rd, we hope you'll support Asian American arts by attending the show on another date!
