About Kate
Kate graduated from Harvard College in 2007 and the Harvard Graduate School of Education in 2010. She is currently Vice President of MyCOS, China’s leading higher education data consulting firm, and co-hosts a popular parenting podcast with two other 2007 alums, Model Minority Moms. Her career in higher education and the social sector has spanned Paris, Beijing, Chicago, Boston and New York. Kate is a bestselling published author in China and is fluent in English, Mandarin, and French. Kate and her husband Nirav have two daughters and a Havanese dog named Moumou.
About Dan
Dan graduated from Harvard College in 2005 and earned a MBA from the University of California, Berkeley in 2012. Dan is a portfolio manager and Co-Founder of Triple Summit Advisors, LLC, a financial planning and investment advisory firm. Prior to Triple Summit, Dan worked in business development and operations at Zipline, a venture-backed drone delivery startup. Dan also served as a field artillery officer in the U.S. Army, with overseas service in Iraq and Korea. Dan and his wife, Maiko Nakarai-Kanivas '06, have two daughters and a lively Yorkie named Finn.
