Early Chinese history is often viewed as a linear progression of dynasties, but it is better understood as a pendulum. We'll talk about how this played out in political philosophy from the Zhou Dynasty through to the Tang Dynasty. Phil Hu (MBA ‘16) will provide the history and framework through a presentation at the beginning, followed by a small group discussion.
